Hi! Please set my IQR Target as 30!
Thanks!
- Samarpita
Thank you Samarpita. Added. All the best
Thanks Reshmi. I hope and intend to do 30 fresh reads apart from the links I am posting from last year.
Hopefully
30 should do for me too! But that doesn’t include the ones I already posted links of.
Thank you Sia. Added. So that makes your IQRT 33. All the best.
Hi Reshmy!
I have a few doubts and it would be great if you could help me clarify them!
I’d like to know that if we read any book (obviously one which qualifies the criteria of being and IQRC book) which we haven’t mentioned in the original list, does it still count as a read and reviewed book under IQRC?
Also, could you please tell me if the book, Lovetorn by Kavita Daswani, can be included in the Challenge reading list? My guess is it can, but since the author bio says that Kavita is an American I’m not exactly sure.
Thank you, Reshmy!
Hi Sarika,
Some challengers like you list the books you will be reading while other don’t so as long as the book qualifies as an IQRC read and you link it on the linking page, it qualifies. No worries there.
Lovelorn – Yes it can be because the challenge rule says “the only criteria is that it should be authored or co-authored by a writer of Indian origin” and we know someone who has India in all her published works is definitely ‘Indian origin’.
All the best dear.
Thank you so very much, Reshmy!
Hi. My target is 12 (for now!)
Thanks.
Updated to the IQRC challengers list. All the best
I think 20 would be a good target for me
Updated to the IQRC challengers list, Alpa. Looking forward to your reviews.
Would books from our neighboring country do or do they need to be strictly Indian?
Indian Quills = Indian writers only Sapna dearie
come on, we have so many…why peep into other’s houses?
okies
Okay… 4th comment going to moderation
Reshmy might kick me out of the challenge at this rate.
Anyways, please update my target from 12 to 44, since I’ve now linked up 11 books
Hey Reshmy, I actually added a link of a book that I reviewed ( it fits the guidelines) but I not a part of the challengers list given above…is it ok that I posted the link?
Welcome to IQRC 2013, Aparajita. You have been added to the challengers list, your IQR Target will be updated this weekend.
Linking the book review is perfectly ok and a beautiful book at that
All the best & keep reading.
Hey! 30 would be a good target for me. Thanx

Hi Reshmy, I remember my book count was 50 when I had asked you to increase the target to 100. I counted on the page where we upload on the linky and it’s 54. Can you please check?
HI Samarpita. It indeed showed 50 at the start of the month but that was because I had by folly counted ‘Work it Out Without a Workout’ by Vesna P. Jacob in books by Indian writers but she is a Bosnian. Hence moved the count to 49. No. 252 onwards on the linky page are May 2013 reviews, will be updated by month end into the database & the challengers account details so the 5 comes in there. So that’s 54.
Do write back in case you have any query.
Aah ok..thanks
